Renovation of a mixed-use development in Pensacola, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and 1,200-square-foot parking garage.

This contract is to remove and replace the herein specified damaged components located at the Sheriffs Bus Garage, 1670 West Leonard Street, Pensacola, Florida 32501. The Sheriffs Bus Garage building site encompasses an approximate 1,200 square foot footprint. Built on top of asphalt pavement, the metal framed building has steel columns set into concrete footers, three (3) on both the eastern and western sides of the building. These columns are tied together via a horizontal metal girts. Steel rafters on a 2:12 pitch span the width of the space connecting to the steel columns and giving the building its structure. Steel purlins running perpendicular to the rafters tie the whole structure together into one cohesive element. The eastern, western, and northern sides of the building are clad in two (2) tone R-panel metal siding, and the roof is clad in galvanized metal R-panels. The southern face of the building is open and is the only opening in the structure. The garage does have a gutter system with multiple aluminum downspouts along the eastern and western elevations. Large industrial warehouse pendant lights set inside the structure hang from the rafters providing lighting for the garage. Also, on the interior walls is flexible plastic bird control netting. This netting is meant to keep birds from nesting on any of the flat surfaces found inside the garage. Work shall be completed within 30 calendar days. Work includes furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary and required for the completion of the application of internal and external components as indicated on the construction drawings and specified herein. The scope of work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following items: Exterior 1. Proper staging of materials. Materials shall arrive onsite in their manufacturers labeling and be kept in a watertight/temperature safe environment prior to installation as per all manufacturers' recommendations that apply. East Side 1. Remove and replace forty (40) linear feet of damaged 4" x 3" base angle iron. Ensure like kind and quality material is used. 2. Replace two-hundred and eighty (280) square feet of missing colored R-panel metal siding. Ensure new panel profile, material, and color matches the existing siding panels as best possible. 3. Remove and replace forty (40) linear feet of damaged 4" wide galvanized finishing trim. Ensure like kind and quality material is used. 4. Remove and replace two (2) sections of damaged L flashing, both measuring 12' long and 3" wide. 5. Replace two (2) missing enameled aluminum downspouts, each measuring twenty (20) linear feet, along with two (2) each of missing aluminum elbows and gutter outlets. Ensure new profile, material, and color matches the existing downspouts as best possible. 6. Remove and replace approximately two-hundred and eighty (280) square feet of like kind and quality flexible plastic bird control netting. West Side 1. Remove and replace forty (40) linear feet of damaged 4" x 3" base angle iron. Ensure like kind and quality material is used. 2. Replace two-hundred and eighty (280) square feet of missing colored R-panel metal siding. Ensure new panel profile, material, and color matches the existing siding panels as best possible. 3. Remove and replace forty (40) linear feet of damaged 4" wide galvanized finishing trim. Ensure like kind and quality material is used. 4. Replace two (2) missing enameled aluminum downspouts, each measuring twenty (20) linear feet, along with two (2) each of missing aluminum elbows and gutter outlets. Ensure new profile, material, and color matches the existing downspouts as best possible. 5. Remove and replace approximately two-hundred and eighty (280) square feet of like kind and quality flexible plastic bird control netting. North Side 1. Remove and replace approximately two-hundred and ten (210) square feet of like kind and quality flexible plastic bird control netting. The contractor shall be responsible for providing the materials manufacturer representative to observe at substantial completion.
