Interested persons can obtain the documents in the Electronic Tendering System from August 17, 2022. The contractor's bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee representing 5% of the total amount of the tender, valid for a period of 90 days from the date of opening of tenders. This guarantee must be in the form of a bond made out to the order of the contracting authority and issued by a company authorized to stand surety. The bid bond must be accompanied by a letter of consent (issued by the authorized company) to provide the performance bond and the obligations required for the performance of the work. Only bonds issued by an insurance company authorized by the Inspector General of Financial Institutions of Quebec or by the Superintendent of Insurance of Canada to act as surety will be accepted. The Municipality of Papineauville does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received in whole or in part, without obligation of any kind towards the tenderer(s).
