Provide all labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals to install a replacement micro bar screen, furnished by the District, inside the Moorpark Water Reclamation Facility headworks. 1. Mobilize personnel and equipment to the job site. 2. Insurance and Bonding. 3. Demolish and dispose of existing bar screen and all related appurtenances. 4. Thoroughly educate personnel on all installation instructions described in the Operation and Maintenance Instruction manual, including but not limited to: a. Installation procedures b. Installation of screen in channel c. Installation of control panel d. Installation inspection and startup e. Installation of anchor bolts f. Installation of accessories g. Mechanical and electrical drawings 5. Perform all necessary layout work. 6. Perform installation of mounting posts at least 1 day prior to bar screen installation. 7. Perform installation of bar screen, including anchors and brackets, following proper lifting procedures as outlined in the Operation & Maintenance Instruction manual. 8. Perform mounting and installation of local control panel after confirming the screen installation position and routing for the electrical conduit. Unistrut assembly, wedge anchors, floor mounts and hardware shall be stainless steel and all conduits shall be PVC-coated rigid steel. 9. Perform cable wiring and all electrical work as directed in the Operation & Maintenance Instruction manual to ensure proper functioning of bar screen. This includes verifying rotational direction by bumping the machine (energizing for a second or two) to prevent damage to the machine. 10. Perform installation of new level sensors as per the specifications of the engineering drawings from the Operation & Maintenance Instruction manual. Pull and land sensory cable back to the local control panel. Supply and install PVC-coated rigid steel conduit, to run above grade on Unistrut, into the control panel. 11. Perform mechanical and electrical pre-commissioning checks, ensuring rake teeth are centered between the screens bars, the units frames are square and parallel and chain tension is properly adjusted, and all other crucial check points for start-up listed in the Operation & Maintenance Instruction manual are verified. 12. Complete the Inspection Report for Installation & Start Up (page 16 of the Operation & Maintenance Instruction manual) and return to District. 13. Provide 1 day of site start up assistance. 14. De-mobilize from the site and leave site in a clean and orderly state, free from all waste or debris. Notes: i. Any discrepancies from the Operation & Maintenance Instruction manual and/or faults found during inspections must be immediately brought to the attention of the District for guidance, without which no work is to proceed. ii. Contractor shall conduct work on a daily work schedule between the hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, holidays excluded. Off hours work requires prior approval from the District. iii. All materials shall be submitted to and approved by District.
