Site work and paving for a road / highway in Allen Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work includes, but is not limited to, all labor, materials, tools, oversight. project involves seal coatings and/slurry seals on various roads the Township. It is requested that work be completed within the 2022 application season for such materials, specified in PennDOT Pub 408, but it not mandatory to be completed within the 2022 season. The project documents have an asphalt escalation clause to allow for completion of projects by June 30, 2023 Quantities stated in Bid Documents not guaranteed. Actual quantities be more or less. However, payment be based on the actual quantities of work performed. Bids must be accompanied by a bond with a corporate surety to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder detailed in the Instructions to Bidders Bid packages must be clearly "2022 Seal & Slurry Bid Proposal Letting of August 30, 2022" All work and material are to be provided in accordance with the latest Pennsylvania Department of Transportation requirements Publication 408, 447 and Work Zone Traffic Control Publication 213. Allen Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or or to waive any informalities in and to withhold award for a period
