SAMPLING FOR HEADWORKS ANALYSIS: The Swatara Township Authority is requesting bids for laboratories to conduct sampling for the headworks analysis as required by 40 CFR Part 403 enforced by the Environmental Protection Agency. Sampling will need to be conducted in accordance with the Sampling Plan. There will be five (5) different sampling locations: background (residential area), raw influent, reaeration zone, plant effluent, and sludge with each location requiring ten (10) samples to be taken. Sampling and analysis shall be completed by November 30, 2022. Engineer: ARRO CONSULTING, INC. 108 West Airport Road Lititz, PA 17543 No pre-bid meeting will be held. Questions will be accepted until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, August 22, 2022. Questions must be submitted through PennBid and will not be received in any other manner. It is a requirement of this Contract that Bidder shall be PA DEP Accredited Laboratory and shall have a minimum (5) years documented experience in the type of Work required by this Project. The OWNER hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any, or all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities not involving price, time, or change in the Work, in any Bid.
