The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive irregularities therein, and to accept any bids which, in the opinion of the Board, may be most advantageous and to the best interest of the County. This contract will be considered for award on August 23, 2022. If you plan to submit a bid, please acknowledge the receipt of this invitation to bid by emailing purchasing@kentcountyroads.net. This allows for KCRC to be in contact with you for any future communication throughout the bid process. PROJECT LOCATION: The streets are located on M-21 and the patches are between the limits of Cumberland Avenue to Valley Vista Drive. Patch list is attached to this packet. GENERAL: The contract will consist of trucking, tack coat, placement, and compacting HMA of approximately 220 square yards. The Kent County Road Commission Maintenance Department will be doing any and all prep work, including sweeping & traffic control and milling. STARTING DATE: A preconstruction meeting shall be held before any work begins to determine a schedule. Contractor will coordinate paving schedule with KCRC Maintenance COMPLETION DATE: The completion date for this project is October 1, 2022
