Sealed bids can be delivered to Keyes Architects located at 4717 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40213 or can be sent via email to: zfdstation2@zonetonfire.com Zoneton Fire Protection District (ZFPD) has contracted with Keyes Architects & Associates, PLLC for design services for a building addition and renovation for their Station #2 facility located at 163 Overlook Acres, Brooks, KY 40109. In addition, ZFPD has contracted with Layne Contracting, LLC for construction management services. The ZFPD is seeking subcontractors to rebid phases of the work per bid packages for the partial interior renovation of the existing two story fire station and the addition of two apparatus bays. Scope: partial interior renovation of the existing two story fire station and the addition of two apparatus bays and associated site work. Rebid Packages Consist of the following: 1. HVAC – All HVAC systems including the purchase and installation of hood and fans/louvers with controls. 2. Plumbing – Including propane tank line and connection to generator, connection of owner supplied equipment associated with plumbing and all natural gas piping to include relocated meter and rework of relocated piping. 3. Roofing – (For new addition and existing building) Including siding, gutters, downspouts, trim, colored vertical seam metal roofing system w/ (2) rows of ice dams. 4. Flooring – Ceramic, LVT and cove base to also include ceramic wall tile in restrooms. 5. Drywall & Building Insulation – Including Tyvek vapor barrier on bottom of existing trusses in renovated space. 6. Paint – Including all interior and exterior. 7. Millwork – Including kitchen cabinetry, stainless steel counter tops and dorm room lockers. 8. Overhead Doors – Including openers. There are no scheduled Pre-Bid Meetings. *Addendum 1 - 4 have been issued.
