The Work to be performed for the Brick Shed Roof Renovations Project will consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the renovation of an existing roof, which includes complete removal of the existing asphalt shingle roof and underlayment, complete removal of existing modified bitumen roofing and underlayment, removal of certain joists and replacement with new joists; and, installation of new asphalt shingle roofing and bitumen roof all as designated on plans. Base and Alternate Bids are provided for this project. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract to the responsive Bidder with the lowest Total Bid Price for either the Base Bid or Alternate Bid. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Any and all steel products used or supplied in the performance of the contract or any subcontracts shall be from steel made in the United States.
