Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Valdosta, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 85,018-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
PN-118115, 11.2202 , 22034 Construction of A New Headquarters for Second Harvest of South Georgia - FFY2021 CDBG-CV - 21cv-y-092-1-6247. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Base Bid. The Bid Bond shall be issued by a company authorized to do business in the State of Georgia. No other form of bid security will be accepted. The successful General Contractor shall furnish to the Owner both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Bidders shall not contact anyone with the Lowndes County Board of Commissioners or Second Harvest of South Georgia at any time during the bidding process. All questions are to be directed to the Architect, via email, at johnm@mccallinc.com. Any breach of this requirement will result in bidders disqualification. The contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, based on the base bid plus selected alternates. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of days indicated in the Proposal Form, after time has been called on the date of opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities. Construction of an 85,018 square foot warehouse facility and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
