Site work, outdoor lighting and new construction of a mixed-use development in Valdosta, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks and Recreation Authority is accepting bids for the construction of McKey Park Pickleball Facility including the addition of twelve (12) new pickleball courts with associated equipment and fencing as well as new sidewalks, restrooms, viewing structure, and parking lots. Scope also includes new lighting for new courts as well as a new gazebo structure and drinking fountain. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond and Insurance in a form acceptable to the Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. The contractor responsible for the installation of the new pickleball court asphalt, playing surfaces, and equipment shall be an American Sports Builders Association Certified Pickleball Court Builder. This contractor may be a sub-contractor to the general contractor. Evidence of this certification shall be included with the bid. If there are any questions call LEA, PC at 229-253-0900. Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks and Recreation Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
