The City of Santa Monica, (referred to hereafter as "the City") is inviting proposals from qualified persons or firms interested in providing operations, maintenance and management services (OMMS) for the Charnock Well Field facility ("Facility") for the production and treatment of groundwater for potable use for an initial term of up to five years, with no options for renewal. In addition to the services being requested for the Charnock Well Field facility, the City is also requesting proposals for its new City Hall East Building's Potable Water Supply Treatment Facility. The Charnock Well Field facility is located at 11375 Westminster Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90066. In concert with the City's Arcadia Water Treatment Plant operated by City staff and other production wells, the Charnock Well Field assists in providing approximately 70% of the City's water to over 18,000 municipal water accounts from local supplies. The City Hall East's potable water supply treatment facility is located at 1685 Main Street and it will be the first in California to convert rainwater to potable water and use composting toilets striving for 48% potable water savings.
