Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The purpose of these trials is to select an appropriate wearing surface system (Asphalt + Corrosion Protection/Waterproofing) that shall provide a minimum of 4 years of maintenance free service life. The Contractor shall design, supply and install some trials to provide durable and easily removable wearing surface system consisting of a membrane to protect the deck, a compatible tack coat and asphalt layer to act as a riding surface.
