The Orange County Sanitation District (OC SAN) invites qualified Bidders to submit Bids for the Cengen Cooling Water Pipe Replacement at Plant No. 2 Project. Bids must comply with the requirements of the bidding documents. This Project will replace approximately 1,500 feet of ductile iron piping used in cooling water service at the Plant No. 2 CenGen facility. Associated appurtenances including fittings, valves, wired and unwired instruments, as well as associated wiring will also be replaced. This Project requires the following classification of Contractor s License: "A". Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 22300, Bidders may substitute approved securities to ensure performance under the Contract. The Project is subject to prevailing wage laws and requirements. Copies of the prevailing rate of per diem wages, as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations, applicable to the locality in which the Work is to be performed are on file at OC SAN s principal office and are available upon request or can be obtained . All contractors and subcontractors must be registered and qualified to perform public work under Labor Code section 1725.5 to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal for, or perform work on the Project. The Project shall be subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1771.4.
