Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The purpose of the Request for Qualifications (RfQ) is to invite Interested Parties to submit Responses to the City indicating their interest in and providing their qualifications for the Recreation Facility Energy Conservation Project 2. The Scope of Work for this Project will include The Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre (CLLC) which is located at 9145 Corbould Street in Chilliwack, BC. The facility contains several pools and hot tubs, a gym, a wellness studio, a restaurant, and various other services. Currently, the vast majority of the facility's heating load is being met with two natural gas boilers. As part of this project, one of these gas boilers will be replaced. In addition, a high temperature heat pump will be installed to offset the usage of the facility's natural gas boilers.
