Scope : Four (4) Towable Digital Traffic Message Boards and One (1) Tilt-Deck Gooseneck Trailer for use by the Division of Engineering & Public Works. Preference is given to materials, supplies and provisions that are produced, manufactured, or grown in Louisiana, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside of the State. The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury/Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause as permitted by LA R.S. 38:2214(B). The ability of an entity to reject any bid is applicable only when administered in accordance with the Public Bid Law. In accordance with LSA R.S. 38:2212(B)(1), the provisions and requirements of this Section, and those stated in the bidding documents shall not be waived by any entity. Bids may be held by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to award. Official action on this bid will be taken at the Regular Meeting of the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury within forty-five (45) days. All paper bids MUST be plainly marked and should contain the following on the outside of the envelope:
