Renovation of a mixed-use development in Monterey, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Monterey Peninsula Community College District will receive bids for the award of a contract to construct this project: Library Technology Center (LTC) & Gym HVAC and Roof Replacements Project Monterey Peninsula College, 980 Fremont Street, Monterey, CA 93940 Scope of work consists of: a. LTC: Replacing existing HVAC units at upper roof level, replacing existing roof at upper and lower roof levels, and the additive alternate for replacing existing ductwork at upper roof level. b. Gym: Replacing existing rooftop air handling units at upper roof level, replacing existing hydronic piping at upper roof level, replacing existing roof at upper and lower roof levels, and an additive alternate for replacing existing roof exhaust systems. This renovation is projected to be in construction from March to August, 2023. All questions about the project should be directed to Diane Miller at (831) 238-8639 or via email to diane@ausonio.com. MPC Governing Board approval is tentatively scheduled for October 26, 2022 Pursuant to the Contract Documents, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. Q&A Deadline September 23, 2022 5:00 PM (PDT) The Owner will not consider or accept any bids from contractors who are not licensed to do business in the State of California, in accordance with the California Public Contract Code, providing for the licensing of contractors. In accordance with Section 3300 of the Code, the bidder shall have a Class "B" license and shall maintain that license in good standing through Contract Completion and all applicable warranty periods. This is a Prevailing Wage project. Prevailing Wage information can be accessed electronically.
