Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Woodland Park, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,550-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The work consists, but us not limited to the following: 1. The proposed project includes approximately +/- 6,550 sf of new construction for a New Environmental Center building for the Borough of Woodland Park in Passaic County, New Jersey. This includes a single-story steel framed environmental center building. 2. Site clearing, rock excavation, removal and disposal for new environmental center building. 3. Site utilities for this building include mechanical equipment on its north side. The General Contractor is responsible to coordinate installation of the following: Domestic water, fire protection, electrical, sanitary, storm, telephone and city fiber network with all utility companies, owner, CM and architect. This work shall be included in the bid price. 4. Interior finishes include predominately painted impact resistant GWB stud wall partitions, painted CMU wall construction, new hollow metal doors, aluminum doors, fiber reinforced polymer doors, sealed concrete, and carpet tile flooring. Acoustical ceiling grid and tiles, GWB and exposed painted structure will occur as ceiling finishes. Refer to Project drawings and specifications for work requirements, limit of work, site access restrictions, stockpile location, finished elevation of site and all other work under this contract. Bid documents will not be mailed. An addendum, if necessary will be issued on Tuesday, September 1, 2022, Bids shall be received at the hour designated in this notice at the College at the address noted above, in the Conference Room, E322, 3rd Floor, Founders Hall, or previous thereto, by delivery to the College, at the address noted above, Attention: Director of Purchasing. All Bids must be submitted on forms supplied in a sealed envelope marked 'Sealed Bid' bearing the name and address of the bidder, the bid number, and project name. If bids are mailed or delivered in person ahead of the due date, the above required envelope may be inserted into a larger envelope for mailing or delivery. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that bids are presented to the College on the date, hour and at the place designated. The College assumes no responsibility for any bids not delivered in person at the time and place designated above, to include mail, overnight courier, or drop-off prior to the bid opening date and time. No bids will be accepted after the hour designated for receipt. Bidders and bids must comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 and Chapter 33 of Public Laws of 1977, Affirmative Action registration requirements, N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 as amended for Business Registration Certification(s), and section 22 of P.L. 1971, c198.
