Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School District, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from qualified bidders for Alumni Gym Floor Replacement Project, in accordance with Contract Documents prepared by Gienapp Architects, LCC, 20 Conant Street, Danvers, MA 01923. The project consists of replacement of the Alumni Gym floor, installation of new volleyball net system, and installation of a new full-height gym divider curtain. DCAMM certification in category of Floor Covering required; 5% Bid Bond required; 100% Payment & 100% Performance Bonds required upon award of the contract. Prevailing Wages apply. Estimated cost of the project is $250,000. All plan holders must provide two (2) email addresses to receive notifications and update information, including addenda, on this project. Bid documents may also be accessed via electronically Bid awards are made by the Director of Business Operations subject to the approval of the Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School District Committee. This project includes removing the existing wood floor at Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School in the Alumni Gym, and replacing it with a resilient multi-sports floor. The project also includes the replacement of impacted door thresholds, removal and re-installation of the existing bleachers, and, as an alternate, removal and replacement of the folding partition The project generally consists of replacement of the Alumni Gym floor and installation of new volleyball net system. There are two Bid Alternates. Alternate #1 consists of demolition and removal of existing gymnasium partition, and Alternate #2 consists of furnish and install a new full-height gym divider curtain. 1. Replacement of existing gym floor with a combined-elastic resilient athletic flooring system, new volleyball net assembly and new gym divider curtain.
