Renovation of an educational facility in Canton, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of October 19,2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work of this single bid project includes the partial renovation of Nevaldine Hall which includes ADA upgrades, but not limited to the removal of interior partitions, interior concrete slab on grade, mechanical distribution systems and terminal units, plumbing fixtures and piping, electrical power distribution systems including fixtures, and existing data/communication systems. Replacement of ceilings, flooring, mechanical systems, and interior lighting. Installation of VCT, stained concrete floor (existing and new), wall tile, doors, frames, hardware, ceilings, case work, carpentry, and painting. Mechanical distribution system including ductwork and terminal units, fire protection system relocation. Plumbing distribution and plumbing fixtures. Electrical to include lighting, power, and data/communication. Abatement of hazardous materials, and signage. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. In accordance with State Finance Law 139-j, all non-technical inquiries regarding this procurement must be directed to Robbilee Luedtke at SUCF.ConstructionBids@suny.edu or for MWBE related issues, Scott Clay at SUCF.OpportunityAdmin@suny.edu . Work will be performed at SUNY Canton. Estimated Range -$500,000 - $1,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
