** This project has been awarded to Railworks Track Systems Inc. in the amount of $1,170,838. ** Description of work: The project will complete improvements to the Clark County Chelatchie Prairie Railroad between milepost 0.00 to 14.12 including railroad cross tie replacement, ballast placement, track surfacing, and other work as identified. Primary bid items: Replace Cross Ties, Ballast Distribution, (Surface, Line, & Dress (SLD), Raise Track with SLD, Remove Superelevation with SLD, Remove Line Swing. Questions and requests for clarification must be submitted using the electronic CRP Inquiry Submittal Form located on the County website. Responses will be posted on the projects Bid Inquiry Log. All bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the bid documents. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the Bidders company name, project title, project number, bid opening date, and SEALED BID clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Bids submitted by FAX or email will not be accepted. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, or proposal bond in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid.
