Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wamego, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of October 25,2022. Project has been awarded to J & k Contracting in the amount of $993,193.50. Project includes approximately 5030' of waterline construction at 3 project locations. Project includes utility trenching, backfill, pavement removal and replacement and all other associated work as indicated on the drawings and within the specifications. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to City of Wamego, Kansas as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid which it deems most advantageous to the Owner, and to reject any or all bids submitted and to hold as many bids as it desires for consideration for a period of sixty (60) days after the bids are open.
