Site work for a road / highway in Warren, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
RFQ release date is 9/6/22 The landscape design scope includes installing median landscaping and aesthetic treatment, followed by two years of watering, and cultivating for all landscaping installed. Design will be in accordance with the previously developed aesthetic guide for the project. The project is located in the Cities of Warren and Sterling Heights, Macomb County. The overall Innovate Mound project is an initiative to rebuild Mound Road from 11 Mile Road north to M-59, widening from three to four lanes between 17 Mile Road and M-59. The goal of the project is to create a user-friendly, modern corridor that is safe for motorized vehicles, bikes, and pedestrians by incorporating state-of-the-art design and smart technology. The landscaping portion of the project, which is funded locally, will be in the median of Mound Road. The landscaping contractor will be selected using qualifications-based scoring.. Prequalification Requirement: MDOT Prequalification 3300 H (Landscaping). Additional information will be available at online the August 25th Zoom presentation.
