Renovation of a multi-residential development in Fall River, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Fall River Housing Authority hereby solicits sealed bids for the North Rocliffe Apts. Surveillance System Replacement Project in accordance to the specifications detailed in IFB 8-31-22 (B). The project carries a contract estimate of $55,000.The FRHA requires completion of the contract in 30 days following the receipt of a Notice to Proceed. A 5% Bid Bond is required. The successful contractor must supply proof of liability insurance coverage and Workers' Compensation coverage along with a 50% Payment Bond, prior to contract execution. Davis Bacon Wages schedules are applicable to this project; additionally the Fall River Housing Authority extends contract opportunities to Minority/Women Businesses. MBE/WBE Businesses are encouraged to participate. Proof of OSHA training is required. The Fall River Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids when it is in the best interest of the Authority to do so. This project is funded through a HUD Health and Safety Grant and therefore the FRHA reserves the right to cancel this solicitation and reject all sealed bids received due to financial constraints or lack of sufficient funds. The FRHA Board of Commissioners will award a contract at their September Board Meeting.
