Renovation of a power facility in Wallingford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
The Town of Wallingford, Electric Division is accepting bids for "North Wallingford 36W Substation Control House Roof Project 2022. All Bid Prices are to: Be for a complete and professional Installation Include all necessary materials, equipment, labor, and supervisor Contractor must be certified by manufacturer to be an installer of the product proposed and for the type of installation Contractor must be licensed and insured to perform such work in the State of Connecticut Three (3) references for work similar in size and scope must be provided Apply for and provide permit if needed Upon arrival setup all safety related requirements and provide dumpsters for debris Remove all loose gravel from the roof surface. Hand or mechanically spud gravel lumps or excess asphalt pour. Prime the surface as necessary with Karnak 108, APOC asphalt primer, or approved equal. Install a base ply of Sika Index Nova smooth modified bitumen membrane, or approved equal, following all manufacturers guidelines including appropriate laps and end seam offsets.
