The DOUGLAS AVENUE URBANIZATION - 86TH STREET TO ELM DRIVE shall include - Approximately 5,000 LF of Storm Sewer Pipe Approximately 80 Storm Sewer Structures Approximately 7,000 LF Curb and Gutter Approximately 7,000 SY PCC Pavement Approximately 500 Tons of Asphalt Overlay Related items including removals, restoration, traffic control, erosion control, and survey. Contractor shall fully complete the project by November 22, 2024. The bid security must be in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount including all add alternates (do not deduct the amount of deduct alternates). Bid security shall be in the form of a cashier's check or a certified check drawn on an FDIC insured bank chartered under the laws of the state of Iowa or on an FDIC insured bank chartered under the laws of the United States The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said bond to be issued by a responsible surety and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment NOT - 2 for all materials and labor and protect and save harmless the City, from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operation of the Contractor.
