The Proposed Work Consists of Supplying and Installing Meters and Radios, Inside Installs, in-pit Installs, Flexnet Equipment, Startup/analytics, Fees/maintenance as Per the Detailed Specifications, Along With All Required Appurtenances Incidental to the Construction of the Above Items. The Bid Shall Be for All Necessary Insurance, Labor, Tools and Equipment and Material for the Complete Construction, Restoration and Clean-up of the Site. Each Bid Shall Contain the Name of Every Person, Firm or Corporation Interested in the Same and Be Accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the Form of 1.) a Certified Check, or Cashier's Check, or Letter of Credit Equal to 10% of the Bid; or 2) a Bid Guaranty Bond in the Full Amount of the Bid; Both Forms of Guaranty as Provided in Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code and in the Project Specifications. All Bids Shall Be Conditional That if the Bid is Accepted Within Sixty Days of the Bid Opening, a Proper Contract Will Be Executed and That Upon Failure or Refusal to Enter Into a Contract Within Ten Days After Receipt of Notification of Award the Bidder and the Surety on Any Bond Shall Be Liable to the Village of Wintersville in an Amount Not to Exceed Ton Percent of the Bid. Each Bidder Must Insure That All Employees and Applicants for Employment Are Not Discriminated Against Because of Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Handicap or Nation Origin. The Work Shall Be Subject to the Prevailing Wage Rates Established by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. Weekly Payroll Records Shall Be Submitted to the Village of Wintersville for Verification of Compliance. The Village of Wintersville Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, to Waive Any Information or Irregularities in the Bids Received and to Determine the Lowest and Best Bid. All Bids Shall Be Placed in a Sealed Envelope and Clearly Marked "Wintersville - Systemwide Meter Replacement
