**As of October 25, 2022, project was awarded to RC8 Construction, LLC., awarded amount is $431,811.41.** Project consists of various sewer line relocations to include an 8-inch Force main, manholes, and 8-inch gravity sewer line in support of TxDOT roadway improvements to West FM 676 (Main Avenue) between La Homa Road and Alton Boulevard. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Alton or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Work of the Project consists of adjusting existing sanitary sewer mains along Main Avenue (FM 676) and Trosper Avenue to allow for connections of future developments outside of the TxDOT pavement limits. Improvements include installation of sanitary sewer manholes, sanitary sewer pvc pipe, force main installation, and removal and replacement of existing asphalt pavement for the existing asphalt roadways.
