The City of West Jordan requests proposals from Qualified and Experienced Professional Material Testing Firms that provide Material Testing Services The City of West Jordan (City) requests proposals from Qualified and Experienced Professional Material Testing Firms (Consultants) that provide Material Testing Services as needed for the Zone 6 Junction 3 MG Reservoir project located at 7982 West New Bingham Highway. Zone 6 Junction 3 Million Gallon (MG) Reservoir Project: This project is in West Jordan, Utah at approximately 7982 West New Bingham Highway. The tentative schedule for testing services will start on September 15, 2022, and the project is scheduled for completion by the end of December 2023. The following is a general description of the project: Construction of one 3-million-gallon capacity, cast-in-place concrete reservoir AWWA D-110 Type I prestressed and strand wound, complete, including access hatches, air vents, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and appurtenances Construction of appurtenant yard piping, including inlet and outlet piping, drain and overflow piping, manholes and catch basins, wash down and irrigation supply piping, underdrain piping, and connections to existing piping Construction of appurtenant concrete vaults, and valve vaults complete. Excavation and Backfill and final site grading to bury the reservoir and to provide for site improvements. Electrical service, instrumentation, and controls. Site landscape restoration. The Consultant shall provide third-party material testing services during the construction of the aforementioned project. All material testing methods shall be in accordance with current AASHTO, ACI, ASTM, APWA, ICC, and local and national standards. The Consultant shall comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, ordinances, and statutes.
