Site work for a mixed-use development in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project at Cleveland National Forest, San Diego, California provides for the equipment, labor, materials, and services necessary to perform work ordered by the Government for the fabrication and installation of approx. 992 ft. of pipe rail barrier in compliance with its terms, specifications, drawings and provisions. Old footing holes of existing fence removed for new barrier installation shall be filled with new footing excavation material. C.1 SCOPE OF CONTRACT This contract provides for the equipment, labor, materials, and services necessary to perform work ordered by the Government for the fabrication and installation of approx. 992 ft. of pipe rail barrier in compliance with its terms, specifications, drawings and provisions. Old footing holes of existing fence removed for new barrier installation shall be filled with new footing excavation material. Construction elements include, but are not limited to: site work, surveying, demolition, clearing and grubbing, excavation, best management practices (BMP's), concrete, traffic control, cleanup. All associated work required for complete barrier installation but not listed under Pay Items are incidental. A Forest Service archeological monitor shall be onsite during all ground disturbance. The contractor will work closely with the Contracting Officer Representative to schedule oversight of a forest archaeological and botanical monitor for all ground disturbance and vegetation clearing. All sites are in the proximity of sensitive or protected areas and require 2 weeks notice for monitoring. If any heritage resources are discovered during implementation, all project related work shall cease immediately and notification to COR initiated. The Contractor shall exercise caution to minimize ground disturbance and avoid damaging existing improvements. Additive 1: additional barrier at Corral Canyon CG (same specs), see Layout Drawing Location will be within same site(s) and staked by the CO. Approx. 247 ft. Additive 2: additional barrier at Corral Canyon CG (same specs) see Layout Drawing Location will be within same site(s) and staked by the CO. Approx. 518 ft. C.2 PROJECT LOCATON Corral Canyon & Bobcat Meadow OHV Campgrounds - San Diego County Travel on I-8 East, exit Buckman Springs Road, turn right onto Buckman Springs Rd, continue for 3.3 mi., turn right onto Corral Canyon, stay on Corral Canyon 7.2 mi., Corral Canyon CG will be on the left. Travel on I-8 East, exit Buckman Springs Road, turn right onto Buckman Springs Rd, continue for 3.3 mi., turn right onto Corral Canyon, stay on Corral Canyon 5.8 mi., turn left onto Los Pinos Rd 1.0 mi, Bobcat Meadow CG will be on the left. The Forest Service highly recommends a site visit prior to bidding to ensure complete knowledge of barrier alignment, challenging access as well as the difficulty of operations. C.3 MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT FAR 36.204 - Disclosure of Magnitude of the Construction Project: Between $25,000 and $100,000 C.4 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Technical Specifications: See Section J for Statement of Work and other pertinent information. Section J of this contract contains Supplemental and Special Project Specifications that supplement and/or modify the Standard Specifications. The Standard, Supplemental, and Special Project Specifications shall all be used in conjunction with each other to properly determine the correct specification for each Pay Item in the Schedule of Items. personnel in each crew (experience, and background), to be assigned to meet the 90-day period of performance. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
