Chippewa Wild Ricing Site Access Project Description The intent of this project is to provide safe and environmentally friendly public access to two high priority wild rice gathering areas located on State of Minnesota and U.S. National Forest lands. This will be achieved through the installation of floating boardwalks as shown on the attached Drawings. The project is comprised of all required labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the following work: Work includes but is not limited to mobilization, erosion control, site protection and stabilization, and providing, constructing, and installing two floating boardwalks. Work may also include snow removal to access the site(s) for winter construction. The Government estimated is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This project is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 238130 size standard, $16.5M. Quoters are encouraged to submit all questions in writing at least five (5) days prior to the conference. Questions will be considered at any time prior to or during the conference; however, quoters will be asked to confirm verbal questions in writing. Subsequent to the conference, an amendment to the solicitation containing an abstract of the questions and answers, and a list of attendees, will be disseminated. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bidders are urged and expected to inspect the site(s) where the work will be performed and to familiarize themselves with all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after Contract award
