Reference number : 1589470 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-08-29 Submission sent electronically accepted: Nope Options related to this notice: This notice has renewal options (renewal for 4 years) The Municipality of Saint-Étienne-de-Bolton is requesting bids for a one (1) year contract, plus four optional years for snow removal, sanding and de-icing of roads in the Municipality of Saint-Etienne-de-Bolton . Each tender must be accompanied, for an amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000), by one of the following documents: either a certified check drawn on a Canadian chartered bank or a credit union in favor of the Municipality of Saint-Étienne-de-Bolton, either an unconditional and irrevocable letter of guarantee from a Canadian chartered bank or credit union, or a bid bond for an equivalent amount and valid for a period of 90 days following the date of opening of bids. In addition to this bid guarantee, the bidder must include in his bid: a letter of intent from a Canadian chartered bank or credit union or an insurance company authorized by the Office of the Inspector General of Financial Institutions of Quebec guaranteeing that a performance bond in the form an unconditional and irrevocable letter of guarantee or performance bond and guarantee of the contractor's obligations for wages, materials and services in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) must be issued in favor of the Municipality, if its bid is accepted. Only letters of guarantee from a Canadian chartered bank or credit union or bonds issued by insurance companies holding an insurer's license in Quebec will be accepted under the terms of the tender documents. The Municipality does not in any way undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received, nor to incur any obligation, any costs of any kind towards the tenderer(s). Furthermore, it reserves the right to override minor informality with respect to the compliance of a submission if it deems, in its sole discretion, that the public interest justifies it. The tenderer declares to recognize and accept this option available to the contracting authority.
