The intent of this work is to remove the existing HMA surface from the parking area. Additional aggregate base will be added where needed and fine graded. HMA 4EL will be placed on prepared surface at a rate of 220 lbs/syd in one lift. Class II shoulders will be placed at 1' wide around the perimeter. The contractor's operations must be performed during daylight hours from Monday through Friday Project Location: M-72, Clearwater Township, Kalkaska County, Michigan. The location of this project is the scenic turnout for Skegemog Lake located on the south side of M72, approximately 200' west of the Hill Road intersection.
