INTRODUCTION: Through this Invitation to Bid (ITB), the City of Dearborn hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit bids to provide construction of a Disc Golf Course for the City of Dearborn's Camp Dearborn, located in Milford, Ml. Approval of the design of the course. City will work with vendor to determine hole placement, and City will be responsible for clearing any areas (trees/land) with respect to the layout of the course if approved by the City of Dearborn. 2. GENERAL INFORMATION: Camp Dearborn, located at 1700 General Motors Road in Milford, Ml, is a family-orientated recreational facility owned and operated by the City of Dearborn Recreation and Parks Department. The Camp is conveniently located near many of south-eastern Michigan's main attractions, and offers a wide range of amenities for outdoor activity including a half-mile swimming beach, acres of shaded picnic spots, fishing, paddle boat rentals, and the Mystic Creek Golf Course. The new Disc Golf Course would give campers a unique, family-friendly activity, while drawing traffic from all around the Metro Detroit area.
