Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) Board of Education is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified suppliers for the purchase of Energy Recovery Units (ERUs). Questions regarding this proposal package should be submitted in writing through electronically Questions Due Date: Aug 23rd 2022, 10:00 AM EDT This contract is effective from September 16, 2022, through September 15, 2023, or upon award. GCPS reserves the right to renew this bid up to a maximum of three (3) additional one-year periods for a total potential term length of 4 years with the approval of the Gwinnett County Board of Education. Bid extensions will be approved in one-year increments. Pursuant to O.C.G.A. Section 50-5-64, this contract shall not be deemed to create a debt of The Board for the payment of any sum beyond the fiscal year of execution or, in the event of a renewal, beyond the fiscal year of such renewal. Award will be made to the supplier(s) submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid. GCPS reserves the right to reject any or all bids to waive technicalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest. All companies submitting a bid will be notified in writing of award. The ventilators shall be 100% outdoor air units designed to provide a continuous supply of conditioned, filtered ventilation air. AAON is the Basis of Design manufacturer for Energy Recovery Units. Equivalent name brand equipment by Addison or Greenheck that meets performance, capacity, space, and other requirements of the design documents shall be acceptable. The Award will be all or none to the lowest responsive responsible bidder as the primary awardee. GCPS may choose to award to the next lowest responsive, responsible bidder as alternate awardee, in the event the primary awardee is unable to provide the services or in the event of an emergency. All items must be bid on the bid table,or the supplier will be considered non-responsive for the entire bid.
