Renovation of a fire / police facility in Woodbridge, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 50,000-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility.

The Town of Woodbridge, Center Building - Building Committee ("Building Committee"), seeks the assistance of a qualified professional Architectural / Engineering firm ("the successful professional") to provide design services for the renovation of an existing 50,000 SF former School which is located at 4 Meetinghouse Lane, Woodbridge, CT to meet the space needs (current and future) of the Woodbridge Police Department, Human Services and ancillary spaces within this Building. Firms responding must have demonstrated relevant experience similar to this project. A new Building Committee was created by the Woodbridge Board of Selectmen in May 2022 and this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") is issued in accordance with the Board of Selectmen's 05/2622 Charge to the Building Committee. A copy of the Selectmen's Charge is hereby attached as Exhibit A to this RFQ and this successful professional shall be responsible to meet the intent of the items noted within this Charge, without exception. The form of Contract with the successful professional shall be AIA B141 or equivalent with specific amendments to be mutually agreed upon. Note that this will also form the basis of the scope of services and costs to be included within the successful professional's proposal for this project. It should be noted that Building Committee Members are excluded from performing any work in connection with this RFQ.
