Intent Complete refurbishment of existing cooling tower and ancillary equipment. A site walk is required for bid to be accepted and will be scheduled upon request, please submit all bids and requests to the project contact listed below. Scope of Work Provide and install new parts, additional specifications include: Drift eliminators Fill material & bracings Motor & associated drive components Fan, shaft, belts to include balance and alignment Bearings Vibration spring isolators Sump heater Water level controller; re-fit to exterior mount Spray nozzles Water fill valve to include re-plumbing fill bypass Replace any damaged insulation and heat tape Properly demolish, remove and dispose of existing unusable parts Provide and coordinate equipment for getting new materials on to the roof Provide plywood and all necessary roof protection, co-ordinate with approved roofer Provide and install all necessary pipe and fittings to connect cooling tower to chilled water loop and make up water Piping will be black steal or copper. No PVC or other types of plastic pipe are permitted Provide and co-ordinate all necessary electrical connections Clean out strainer before startup Perform start up procedure and verify proper equipment operation Work with building controls vendor to provide equal, or greater integration of new equipment to the building management system Provide all necessary permits, inspections and engineering as required for project This is to include any necessary corrections noted by the inspector during inspection process
