Reconfiguration of the existing interconnect near the intersection of Montgomery Road and Cypress Way. This improvement includes a new PRV to be installed in a new buried concrete vault within the existing right-of-way. The valve, piping and appurtenances will be designed to conform to existing standards and practices from GCWW. A new piping connection between the Indian Mound Avenue and Highland Avenue Pressure Zones at the site of the existing tanks. The two high pressure zones shall be connected to increase pressure and available fire flow within the Indian Mound Avenue area and by-pass the existing tanks. This connection shall be accomplished by installing approximately thirty feet of piping around the inlet to the existing tanks which will also allow the tanks to be isolated from the rest of the system for removal. The addition of surge relief system at the intersection of Spencer and Lexington Avenues. The new system will be installed in a new buried concrete vault within the existing right-of-way. The surge relief valve, piping, and appurtenances will be designed to conform to any applicable standards and practices from GCWW. Flow from the overpressure relief system shall discharge to an existing storm sewer, or by sheet flow over land, depending on existing site conditions and available infrastructure. The addition of a surge relief valve system at the intersection Minot Road and Edwards Road. The new system will be installed in a new buried concrete vault within the existing right-of-way. The surge relief valve, piping, and appurtenances will be designed to conform to any applicable standards and practices from GCWW. Flow from the overpressure relief system shall discharge to an existing storm sewer, or by sheet flow over land, depending on existing site conditions and available infrastructure. The addition of a surge relief valve system at intersection Madison Road and Edwards Road. The new system will be installed in a new buried concrete vault within the existing right-of-way.
