Sealed Bids are requested for removal of stream debris from Lanier Street Outfall, a total stream length of approximately 3,000 feet. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Stroud Istroud @stroudengineer.com 252-756-9352 #127 Performance and a Payment Bond will be required for the successful bidder in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract, payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials, and payment of all liabilities incurred in connection with the work under this contract. North Carolina law requires any contractor bidding on work in the State which costs $30,000.00 or more to show evidence that he is licensed under the "Act to Regulate the Practice of General Contracting." Bidders shall be properly licensed under Chapter 87, General Statues of North Carolina. Other Requirements: No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and any part of a bid and to waive informalities and technicalities in the bidding procedure.
