The City of Henderson, Nevada, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for the performance of Construction Manager at Risk services for the Reimagine Boulder Highway project. It will convert the existing Boulder Highway to two travel lanes in both directions with additional transit only lanes in the median. Also included are enhanced pedestrian walkways, bicycle facilities, pedestrian crossings, traffic signals, signing, striping, and landscaping. Existing drainage channels in the center median will be placed into an underground system and intersections will be modified to reduce pedestrian crossing distances and increase safety. NEPA has not been completed for this project and is currently ongoing. It will be completed prior to construction phase services. It is anticipated that the pre-construction phase will begin November 2022 and end on or before December 2023, predicated upon reaching an acceptable Construction GMP.
