Site work for a mixed-use development in Richmond, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Scope of work includes but isn't limited to grading, sprinkler irrigation, planting, grassing, planters, concrete trails, and 6 months of landscape maintenance. Written questions will be accepted via email to Josh Lock jlock@swagroup.com All questions must be submitted no later than Monday, October 3, 2022 at noon so that the last addendum, if necessary, can be issued to contractors by the end of that day. Bidding procedures are as stated in the Project Manual. Sealed Electronic Bids addressed to Grand Parkway 1358, LP, on behalf of Fort Bend County Municipal Management District No. 1, will be electronically received and then publicly opened and read at the office of SWA Group Landscape Architects, 712 Main St., 6th Floor, Houston, Texas 77002 for construction of Harvest Green 2 Phase 1A Landscape for Grand Parkway 1358, LP, on behalf of Fort Bend County Municipal Management District No. 1, Fort Bend County, Texas. Scope of Work of the Contract includes the following: Concrete Trails, grading, sprinkler irrigation, planting, grassing, and landscape maintenance. In addition to the opening of sealed Bids at the address above, you may view the public opening of sealed Bids via Zoom. To join via Zoom call Telephone Number 888-475- 4499, Meeting ID: 958 7371 2586 and use Passcode 646214 Scope of Work of the Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: concrete trails, grading, sprinkler irrigation, planting, grassing, and landscape maintenance. Bids received after the closing time will not be considered. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashiers check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. If a certified or cashiers check is provided, the successful bidder shall deliver, at the bid opening address, the original certified or cashiers check within twentyfour (24) hours of receipt of the bid opening. Bidder submitting electronic Bids through Civcast must submit its Bid and Bid Securities in compliance with Owners Order Adopting Section 49.2731 Electronic Bidding Rules. By submitting a Bid, Bidder acknowledges and agrees that the Contract Documents may be accepted, executed, or agreed to using an Electronic Signature, as defined by and in accordance with Owners Electronic Signature Rules for Construction Contracts. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Boards judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to this Bid and the Contractor agrees that the Contract can be terminated if the Contractor knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter.
