Working plans call for the addition of a detention facility; pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a detention facility; pre-engineered storage facility; for the renovation of a detention facility; pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a detention facility; and pre-engineered storage facility.
As of 10/10/2022 all bids are rejected and planning for a rebid. No rebid date yet. San Patricio County will receive bids for the County Warehouse Addition and Juvenile Detention Center Roofing Replacement at the San Patricio County Courthouse, address above shown; with an on-site tour of work at both sites being a portion of the proceedings. Bidders attendance is highly recommended. The project will consist of: This project Base Bid consists of constructing a 3,500 sf stand alone preengineered metal bldg. warehouse with loading dock and entry porch with ramp and abutting porch of exist. masonry warehouse to include extension of exist. bldg. entry canopy to provide covered access from one bldg.. to the next and to include a new overhead door at exist. bldg. entry and minor ADA work at exist. restroom. Site work includes concrete paving of certain area of exist improved parking lot area for purposes of accessibility. Project also includes roofing replacement at nearby Juvenile Detention Center consisting of 8,130 sf of new modified bitumen replacement of exist. gravel surfaced built-up roofing and new standing seam metal roofing replacement of 7,500 sf of exist. concrete tile roofing Add Alternate #1 to prep & paint existing cmu & conc. framed warehouse bldg. Add Alternate #2 & #3 consisting of providing Manufacturer's Maintenance Service Agreement to the bldg. roofs as designated by the Alternate description all in accordance with the contract documents, specifications, and plans. Plans and Specifications may be obtained electronically from the Architect. Documents will also be available for viewing at area Plan Rooms. This project will require a 5% Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the accepted bid. Failure to provide required Performance and Payment bonds for this contract will result in for feature of the 5% Bid Bond. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check or a Bid Bond from a surety company licensed in the State of Texas, in an amount of at least Five Percent (5%) of the largest amount bid, payable to San Patricio County, Texas as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract with the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the County for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
