Defence Construction Canada is calling for Request for Qualifications from local contractors to become pre-qualified to be on a Mechanical Construction Source list for Quick Response Tenders (QRT) / Urgent Response Tenders (URT) for work required by the Department of National Defence, at CFB 17 Wing Winnipeg, Manitoba for two (2) years from the date of establishment of the Source List with; if mutually agreed, one (1) optional one (1) year extension. Prequalification will be for the following category of service(s): Mechanical Contractor his procurement follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Agreement on Internal Trade. The Source List may be used for all commissions in support of mechanical construction work with various security clearance requirements (none, DOS, FSC SECRET, etc.). Contractors will require the appropriate security clearance level to be considered for each opportunity to bid. Request for qualifications received after the date and time specified above will not be considered for the qrt/urt source list.
