The City of Fargo is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide construction administration, inspection, construction staking, and material testing services for the following project: 52nd Avenue S Road Construction Project - 63rd Street to Sheyenne Street NDDOT Project No. SU-8-984(170) City of Fargo Improvement District No. BN-23-A2. The City of Fargo is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide construction administration, road and bridge inspection, construction staking, and material testing services for this important road construction project. This project is a collaborative project between the City of Fargo, City of West Fargo, Cass County, and the NDDOT, as this project is a federal aid project. The approximate limits of construction are from 63rd Street to Sheyenne Street. The bid opening for construction is scheduled to be opened on November 18, 2022 in Bismarck. This project is for reconstruction on 52nd Avenue S from 63rd Street to Sheyenne Street. The project contains the following features: - A 5-lane road section with PC concrete. - Bridge demolition and new bridge construction - Installation of storm sewer and watermain. - Installation of street lights. - Installation of new shared use paths. - Roundabout modifications, including landscaping in the middle This project is a federal aid road construction project and is designed according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. As such, this project's construction administration will follow the North Dakota Materials Sampling and Testing Manual and Construction Records Manual. The selected Consultant will be tasked with construction administration, inspection, construction staking, and project closeout.
