Scope of Work: Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all operations necessary for construction of: The City of Jacksonville (City) and the Florida Forestry Service (FFS) are planning to harvest timber and thin forest stands in the northwest corner of Cecil Commerce Center (i.e., 1-10 timber sale). Only one forestry road, Wildcat Road, runs through this portion of the Cecil Commerce Center (Figure 1) The current condition of Wildcat Road is not suitable for timber trucks and other forestry equipment. Pre-Qualification: Bidding firm must be actively licensed by the State of Florida to perform the scope of services defined herein. Contractor shall comply with local, state and federal laws. Bidders must submit with their sealed bid a completed schedule of subcontractor/subconsultant participation, appendix "H", Section 3, proposal, in accordance with Ordinance 2004-602E. In addition bidder shall submit proof of local business tax certificate as applicable. In accordance with Part 6 of the Purchasing Code and as detailed in the Specifications, this procurement has been designated to be under the Set-A-Side Plan to provide Equal Business Opportunity to certain Jacksonville Small Emerging Businesses certified in the area of: General Construction.
