TIMELINE: Request for Supplier Qualifications for Contractors for the next three (3) years has closed. As of October 27, 2022, six (6) General Contractors have prequalified. Second stage timeline for Requests for Tenders for dredging projects at Oakville Harbours to the prequalified proponents has yet to be finalized; details will however be posted to bids&tenders. The Town operates two river based marinas, continual maintenance dredging of the river is required to ensure an unencumbered navigational route for our customers. The Town is looking to prequalify contractors for a 3-year period to bid on all or some of the following items: - Maintenance Dredging. The establishment of a prequalified list of contractors for the construction of dredging projects at Oakville Harbours. Only those contractors that successfully prequalify for this RFSQ-15-2022 process will be permitted to submit on the subsequent second stage Requests for Tenders for dredging projects at Oakville Harbours. The prequalified list of contractors will be in place for a period of three (3) years. This publicly advertised Request for Supplier Qualifications will be the only opportunity for submission to the prequalified list of contractors for the three (3) year period. A second prequalification process (RFSQ-12-2022) is posted for contractors for seawall projects at Oakville Harbours. Respondents interested in this process are required to submit their response to RFSQ-12-2022.
