Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The scope of work consists of reconstructing pavement areas, constructing new asphalt concrete pavement, removing and installing pavement markers, striping and traffic signs, constructing new concrete curb and sidewalk and adjusting water valve. To be eligible for award, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii General Engineering "A" or Specialty Contractors "C" license at the time of bidding ALL requests for information (RFI) shall be received in writing via HIePRO no less than 14 calendar days before bid opening. Questions received after the deadline will not be addressed. Verbal requests for information will not receive a response. Anything said at the conference is for clarification purposes and any changes to the bid documents will be made by addendum and posted in HIePRO. Any protest of this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the Director of Transportation, in accordance with 103D-701, HRS and 3-126, HAR. The Equal Employment Opportunity Regulations of the Secretary of Labor implementing Executive Order 11246, as amended, shall be complied with on this project. The estimated cost of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. The State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any defects in said proposals for the best interest of the public *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
