The City of Henderson Department of Utility Services (DUS) is seeking Statements of Qualifications ("Submittals") from qualified businesses ("Respondent(s)") with experienced Nevada registered engineering staff to update the Henderson Utility Guidelines (HUGs), originally published in 2004 and informally revised and expanded in 2010. HUGs, developed for Engineers of Record to ensure DUS infrastructure conforms to the latest standards and best fits the City's ongoing operational needs, establishes the criteria and standards for the design, construction, testing, and turnover of DUS infrastructure. In addition to updating the HUGs document and providing a capabilities-enhanced online version and staff training, the project includes development of separate documents supporting the content, management, and use of HUGs such as processes, procedures, guidelines, protocol, and training materials.
