Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality (the Municipality) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced roadway maintenance Contractors to provide snow removal maintenance services. The Municipality intends to enter a 3-year contract with a private snow removal service provider for its roadway maintenance requirements on an hourly call out basis. The Municipality is guaranteeing an annual minimum number of hours of work (350 hours) to ensure that the Municipality has priority access to the maintenance services at the time of call out. At the end of the 3-year contract term the Municipality, at its sole discretion, may extend the contract to a maximum of 2 years beyond the original 3-year term. To assist Proponents in preparing their proposals a copy of the proposed required charts is included but feel free to create your own to fit your submission. Information about the Municipality's service area, roadways and required levels of services can be found in the following document. Any further information required around this RFP please contact the undersigned. Each Proponent shall submit one (1) proposal. Each Proposal will be evaluated on its own merit and the Municipality intends to select a preferred proponent based on what will provide the maximum value for money advantage to the Municipality. If a proposal fails in some way to comply with the requirements of this RFP, the Municipality may nevertheless choose, at its discretion, to retain that proposal for consideration.
