furnishing all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the construction of Clay Creek Ditch Cleanout Yankton County Project 1, Yankton-Clay Ditch Cleanout Yankton County Project 2, Clay Creek Ditch Cleanout FEMA Project 3, and Clay Creek Ditch Cleanout Clay County Project 4 in Clay and Yankton Counties. All bids shall be made on the bid packet included in the project manual. The Project includes the following work: 1. Channel Obstruction Removal 2. Tree and Brush Removal Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's security as described. The Successful Bidder will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds as described in the Bidding Documents. All bids shall be sealed, shall contain a deposit of the type specified, and may be filed with the Clay County Auditor during normal office hours or hand carried to the meeting prior to the scheduled bid opening, as specified above. Two contracts will be executed for this work. The contract for Project 1 and Project 2 will be with Yankton County, and the contract for Project 3 and Project 4 will be with Clay County. The lowest combined total bid will be considered the low bidder. Clay County and Yankton County reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
