Renovation of a municipal facility in Boise, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include Base Bid Roof Area 1: The removal of the existing mechanically attached metal roofing system, 3/4' EPS, the original 3-ply B.U.R. and 3 1/2' fiberglass roof insulation. Install new single-ply roofing system. Bid Alternate No. 1: Reroof of Roof Areas 2, 3, 4 & %. Bid Alternate No. 2: Reroof of Roof Areas 7, 8, 9. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractor License for the state of Idaha is required to bid on this work. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. At RoofArea "_1_" (Base Bid): Remove existing mechanically attached metal roofing system, (1) layer of 3/4 " EPS insulation, original 93) ply B.U.R and 3 1/2 " offiberglass insulation down to existing steel roof deck. Remove all curb and wall flashing. Remove corrugated metal wall panel & metal coping cap. Remove abandoned mechanical curb and in-fill with steel roof deck. Install new roofing system as follows: Mechanically attached single-ply roofing membrane over 1/2 " cover board mechanically attached over (2) layers of2.6" polyiso board mechanically attached.. Install new membrane wall flashing over new 1/3' gypsum-fiber board with new 24 ga. pre-finished metal coping. At existing roof drains to receive new clamping rigs and cast iron dome strainers. At existing roof overflow drains install new overflow drains. 2. At Roof Area(s) "2, 3, 4, & 5" (Bid Alternate No.1), Remove the existing BUR & 3 1/2 " fiberglass insulation down to the existing structural steel roof deck. Raise existing mechanical equipment as required to meet minimum flashing height requirements. Install new mechanically attached single-ply roofing system over 1/2 " cover board. System will include new wall & curb membrane flashing. 3. At Roof Area(s) "7, 8 & 9 (Bid Alternate No. 2), Remove existing mechanically attached metal roofing system, 3/4 " EPS insulation, at roof areas 7 & 9. Remove the original B.U.R. and 3 1/2 " fiberglass insulation down to the structural steel roof deck. At roof areas 7 & 9 install new mechanically attached ply-roofmembrane system over 1/2 " cover board over(1) layer of2.6" polyiso board over whole taper layer ofpolyiso. mechanically attached . Install new 24 ga. prefinished metal coping & membrane wall flashings. At roof area 8, install new mechanically attached single-ply roofing membrane over 1/2 ' cover board over(2) layers of 2.6" polyiso board mechanically attached . Install new 24 ga. pre-finished coping and membrane wall flashing.
